I have been informed that David Guscott died yesterday. He will be remembered among much else for his N Gauge layouts on a German theme, recently of the Schweberbahn at Wuppertal, and also with Irene of the Z gauge barges on the Rhine with Rhineside trains. I hope there will be other fond memories of him on this forum, as well as my many conversations with him about life and small scale railway modelling. My condolences and best wishes to Irene and his family.

Very sorry to hear this. I frequently saw them at shows (they lived locally to our club) and I have always enjoyed their layouts, which were well modelled, but also entertaining.
