Once suffered a Semaphore signal failure ( wouldn't come off) which was solved by the Signalman walking down and kicking the balance weight to loosen the wire  - Don't think that works on Colour Lights :D

When will those wizard manufactures in the far east miniaturise clockwork and/or steam?

Believe me, as an electrician I can honestly say that a good size 8 or bigger can solve loads of problems  :o
