UK clock changing time

A gentle reminder that you need to advance your clocks/watches timepieces by 1 hour tonight :'(

Nope. Supposed to be working all weekend, but only got tonight to do. Off to York on Monday with SWMBO.

The bedside clock I have does it automatically so I wake up to the correct time.

Then I change the rest of the clocks when I feel like it

I used to do that till the clock decided it wouldn't update consistently - apparently it doesn't like being in the same room as a laptop left switched on!

Daylight saving does change here for another week. We then go back one hour. Plays havoc trying to remember what the UK time is with no PC to help as just got used to a 10.5 hour difference. That means this week is 9.5 and then next week it changes again to 8.5.

We changed 3 weeks ago. A 4 hour gap to the UK is so much more manageable than the usual 5. I was in the UK a coupe of weeks ago on a business trip and the jet lag wa almost non-existent

Shutting the laptop down overnight didn't help. That clock will have to go...
Good job I set the alarm on the mobile phone!

Check and see if the clocks got a backup battery. Often if they have and its died this sort of thing can/will happen

Thanks for the suggestion - but it is a battery powered clock (fairly fresh batteries) with no back up in it.

I don't have any computers in my bedroom and I switch all computers and the wifi off at night.

The clock did its job OK but I have yet to start changing the others, no rush
