Here's a Class 165

The 166 is the same as a 165, but has air-con, fewer hopper windows and carpets throughout. Oh, and luggage space in the middle vehicle, which the schoolkids use as a seat.

Cheers, Timmo

Hi Timmo

For the purposes of a comparison, here is what I drive.

See anything familiar?  ;)

My favourite has to be the old 4-REP. Trips down to Southampton or sometimes Bournemouth having refreshments in the buffet was a wonderful way to travel. Funny, it never seemed quite as good going in the other direction up to Waterloo.

Definitely 442s for me. Always used to like them anyway, but got a cab ride in 2402 as an 8 year old from Brookwood to Basingstoke, that did it!

won't pry as to to how you managed to wangle a cab ride, but what was a 442 doing stopping at Brookwood?
Two rails good. Three better.
