Gas BBQ,
three primus gas stoves + spare canisters,
generator,
two freezers rammed with food,
two kitchen cupboards rammed with bottles & cans,
bottled water,
loo roll,
kitchen roll,...

that's just our normal life.  ???

Oh, & four shotguns, two rifles & an air rifle.

What!! And no tin foil for a hat? ::)

We live in an isolated location.

We regularly get short power cuts, once/twice a year longer ones, worst was 24hrs.

We can get iced/snowed in, worst was four days.

What we have is just common sense given our location.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Annoyingly I had to dump 5 UPS units when clearing out my Spanish flat. Couldn't put them into storage and couldn't ship them to the UK even if I could.
