Dear all,

We've recently reached over 10,000 members on the NGF! 

I'm not one for speeches or writing mammoth posts, but I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the forum over the years.  Whilst I know that we don't have anywhere near 10,000 people online regularly, it's still amazing to know that 10,000 of you have joined a website that I put together whilst trying to bring N gauge into the digital age!

That's certainly an achievement, Chris, well done! It's all down to the genuine respect between members which attracts newbies and makes them want to stay. There is very little in the way of bad-tempered arguments, politics or bad language, and if you ask a question you will get helpful replies. You deserve credit for setting sensible rules from the start and getting good moderators to enforce them. I regard most members as good friends I haven't met yet. Long may it continue!

I will be forever thankful that you personaly put my name on the Forum at the Riddleston FORUM meeting .
We had the B H E trade stand and it was the year of storms and floods so attendance was not that good ,
You came over to me as I admit I was feeling fed up you asked me if I was on the Forum .
I told you I had no clue how to join ,I gave you my Ipad and with in a minute I suddenly had 100s of new friendsthat I wanted to meet .
I allso met Ray and Anna who were there with Ambleton Vale They have become very very good friends .
