I think the tooling they've done would have allowed them to do 601 in ROG livery. Admittedly that's now 501 in British steel blue, but a little surprised they've overlooked it. Also somewhat happy as it's the one Mercig did for me!

Personally I thought it was an excellent set of releases, Bachmann showing commitment to the scale. Even if a 37/7 is not what you are after, it's clear many other 37 variants are going to follow.

Appreciate I am new to the hobby so only just starting to build my collection, but the fact my wishlist from releases from over the last 18 months is very long suggests to me Bachmann are doing something right. I get that people who have been in the hobby far longer than me will have less gaps to fill, but I do feel Bachmann get a hard deal sometimes.

Trying to find that myself: Without indicator They come onto the rails early 50's ( Era 4) - Farish lists the yellow triangles as 'Era 5' =  post 1956, AI suggests 1959 but not surprised if it wasnt earlier as the the new wagons were soon found not to fit under a lot of existing colliery loaders that the old 21 tonners would, and later auto loading the same as 21t would have defeated the object of the higher cap - so marking them up would have been important... Suggests to me that these wagons would have tended to be marshalled together , rather than just allowed to mix willy-nilly with 21 and 16t opens

I tried watching this last night with the sound off as SWMBO was watching telly. Some interesting auto-generated caption!
All very interesting to see what is considered modern, but I think the prices are getting too high for me.
I hope this will encourage more under 50s modellers to join our hobby.
