I know there are more than a few Prog Rock lovers on the forum, so I was interested to see at last there was an award ceremony last night to celebrate Britain giving such a great form of music to the world (yeah - I know that's open to debate).
Dunno any results though, so if anyone knows........................

The results are:

New Blood: TesseracT

Live Event: Anathema

Grand Design: Pink Floyd's Immersion Reissues

Anthem: Squackett's A Life Within A Day

Album Of The Year: Rush's Clockwork Angels

Visionary: Peter Hammill

Lifetime Achievement: Genesis

Virtuoso: Carl Palmer

Guiding Light: Steven Wilson

Prog God: Rick Wakeman

All good news for music lovers...   8)

I'm sure that prog fans will be delighted to hear that Justin Hayward has been replaced by Gary Barlow in the re-mastered version of War of the Worlds.
