We are very sorry to inform you all that our Dad N Gauge Bob passed away on the 29th April he had a stroke on the 11th Jaunaury which meant he was in and out of hospital a lot and due to this further complications arose and he lost his battle succumbing to aspiration pneumonia.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news.

Thank you very much for letting us know and please accept my sincere condolences.

I have been following your Dad for years on this forum and, before that, on the N Gauge Yahoo forum.

He was a great modeller and a "colourful character" who provided us with much entertainment.

Sorry I won't be able to make it for the wake.

So sorry to read this sad news.
Please accept my condolences at what must be a very difficult time for you.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

My interactions with Bob go back to the days of the N Gauge "Yahoo" Group too, and I also I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times in person, mostly at NGS AGMs going back some years. He was always a delight to talk to, passionate about his hobby and an excellent modeller too.

I am saddened to learn of his passing, my sincerest condolences to his family at what must be a very difficult time.

My feelings exactly. Your Dad was a regular contributor for many years and I was sad when he visited these pages less frequently. My very best wishes to you and your family.

Kind regards,

Chris

Emma & Fiz,

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I didn't 'know' him as such, but had some interaction with him here on the forum & he was always a great person to deal with.

Best regards, Michael.

Hello Emma,

I am so sorry for your loss.  Please accept my condolences, and gratitude for taking the time to post here and let us know what had happened.

Your father was a longstanding and popular member of this forum but I had noticed his posts over the last 12 months describing his mobility and health issues.  His comments and insight will be much missed.

Warm regards,

Ben Ando

So sorry to hear the news. Bob and I exchanged emails for many years. I knew he had a stroke and was very ill. I'm glad he is at peace and reunited with his wife.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Yes, he will be missed here. Condolences to the family at this sad time.
