There must be a way of doing it.

Last night I emailed Fifer Hobbies and exchanged a few emails with Mikes' wife Robin.

They are aware there is an issue with their checkout shipping cost and initially she told me they refunded the extra shipping once the order has gone through.

I asked if there was anyway of finding out the shipping cost before placing an order.

Robin replied saying if you contact them once you know the shipping weight and destination, she would be able to give you the actual cost of shipping and if happy the order could be place then.

cheers John.

QuoteNice looking system but at £14.80 per coach it is a bit on the pricey side

Are your maths right John ? I found them listed at 9.95 euros in the catalog but that is enough for 8 axles
. Thats around £1 each

Nope. Besides which the DCC concepts stuff is I think better for a lot of UK outline as you can space the lights to compartments. For open vehicles you can use cheap lighting strips from Rapid Electronics plus a few pennies of rectifier chip.

I got  this  message  from  Rapido in  the   US

Thanks for getting in touch! We do have some stockists in the UK that carry our products, but as theyorder from distributors and not directly, we don't know which ones. Iwould call around to the stockists that carry American outline and ask. Best regards, Jason-- Sign up for our free monthly newsletter! My knowledge of US outline could be written on the head of a pin, but Plus Daughters carry quite a bit and so do the Signal Box. However, the Signal Box website is being revamped (huzzah!!)
