In my inbox this afternoon was this email from Hornby:

Hornby - A Special Announcement is coming 26 November 2022

As the doors open at Warley Model Railway Exhibition on 26th November 2022, visitors to the Hornby stand will be given the chance to experience something special!
If you can't make it to the event fear not, as we will be covering the details across all of our social channels, the Hornby website and our newsletter.
Curious as to what will be revealed or fancy having a guess yourself? Head over to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and share with us what you think it will be!

Perhaps Hornby is buying Dapol? Eliminate one OO competitor and get market presence into two other scales at the same time.
Would be a better business decision than TT120, IMHO.

What do we think? Has anyone heard any gossip recently? Perhaps it will be as dull as Hornby having Father Christmas and some real elves on their stand?

Thankfully I don't use any of the social media sites Hornby want the frothing to take place on, so I shall just stay here and watch from a safe distance.

They're probably re-launching OOO gauge with reprints from the old Lone Star moulds :)

They are going to buy Meccano.

Or create a new market segment between OO and O which they will call TTO (Two Thirds O)  :D

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

No commitment these days, that's the trouble with pensioners.

Flange Squeal

Could it be the launch of Hornby Uh-Oh. A range of delicate models that have been cluttering Margate's returns department which are beyond viable repair but too valuable to be binned.

Bigmac

or--it could be a special locomotive for N gauge--a sure fire best seller no one else has done---such as LMS (BR) 46201 Princess elizabeth. (with other names to follow )
i used to be indecisive...but now i'm not so sure.
