Has anyone managed to colour match the grey of Peco's ST-90 platforms to a Humbrol grey?
I'm guessing Satin might be better than Matt, but still so many greys to chose from.

Please, no advice on using other platform methods.

If it's that much of a problem, why not repaint the entire thing. Would be relatively quick and cost effective using a rattle can.

I can explain it to you...

Could be a mix of Humbrol 145 Medium Grey & 31 Slate Grey possibly

repainting all of it would be easiest, but if not, try putting on a scanner surrounded by white fabric thingies an use the colour picker tool in paint.net/etc.
do 5/10 picks and note down the RGB values, average them and print a block of that colour, then try to match on a colour chart.
It would only be satin if it was raining.............

The platforms aren't a flat Matt colour, but has a sort of sheen to it

If you decide to repaint it all, I used grey primer for mine, with a matt lacquer on top.

I would repaint the whole platform, that plasticy sheen never looks right. Tamiya has a fair selection of greys in acrylic. Then paint the brick edges in brick red, a wash over the bricks with a dark wash and it will look ten times more realistic
