I'm fitting a Peco turntable and I just realised that if I extend the pivot down I can put a handwheel on the end and reach under quite easily to turn it...no elektrickery or switches to fit.

Sounds like a plan,but how do I make it go either clockwise or anticlockwise on command,how will it know to stop in the correct place?
Perhaps you could train it ready for installing before I got it.
