Apologies if this has been discussed before but could find nothing via Search.

Just wondering about the technical feasibility and cost/benefit of Bachman at some point considering retooling their Farish Warship Class 42 into the Class 43 NBL version? Changes don't seem hugely complicated (to a non expert like myself!) but might open up a number of new model possibilities for them. They did something similar with the Blue Pullman so is it do-able and/or ever likely for the Warship?

Realise over the years all sorts of detail individual variations emerged but don't want to stir up the hornets nest of discussing those again, but the key ones around exhaust ports, roof grilles and marker light location seem to be the main distinguishable differences between the two Classes.

Would there be a worthwhile market for a retooled Class 43?

I'd say the chances of a 43 from Farish are next to nil. They'll think the differences too insignificant in N gauge. Sorry for this negative view but  that's just my opinion.

I agree with @crepello. Kader are watching the pennies and I think have had their fingers burned with other similar look-a-likes such as the A1 to A2 LNER Paicifics. However I am constantly amazed by what manufacturers do and say (like considering another run of Prototype Deltics) so who knows.
