My new DCC sound Revolution N gauge model got thrown over the staircase banisters by a young child (don't ask). It landed on carpet so I don't think the body shell is damaged, but as you can see the undercarriage isn't very happy. I showed the local model shop the picture and they said Noooo we don't do repairs. Any recommendations, please? Or should i eBay it as spare/repair?  :(

I'd contact Dr Al, of this parish.

Contact Revolution's help email. I'm sure they will be able to repair it. There may be a charge but you will lose a lot of money if you sell it like that.

Looks like the power train just came to bits.
After the blood pressure has dropped, I'm sure the various bits will all clip back together. Just a case of getting the order of assembly right.

Whether your child is a budding physicist exploring the effects of kinetic energy on different things, or just looking for a more suitable teething toy is a different story.

It would be a shame to consign the model just yet.
