Dapol Class 122 BR Green with Orange Stipe ?

Hi all

I was looking to get a Dapol Class 122 in BR Green and noticed that Dapol and noticed that Dapol appear to have done two versions, one with the usual light green stripe and one they list as a Dapol Excusive in BR Green with Orange stripe.

What was the significance of the Orange stripe, every search I try only goes back to Dapol, what's the orange stripe version ?

Im only guessing an orange cantrail stripe was added as to notify crews / depots the unit could work under overhead lines / catenary

It was a limited edition done by the Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway to represent their W55003 Class 122.

@carderrail is right.

The cantrail stripe has only ever been worn in preservation. If you want a prototypical one, get one without the stripe.

When I did my track access course, the Orange stripe indicated that it was not safe to go above that line where there was 25Kv overhead catenary.
