Hi all,

Hope you're all having a great time

Just a little thread for people to let of steam if need be.

We nearly came to blows over the cutting of parsnips but that was resolved and so it's All Quiet on the Western Front at the moment  :D

Take care and have fun.

Cheers, weave  :beers:

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Mine was cooked for me - as a thank you for helping to distribute them out to some of the elderly people in the village.

Definitely no argument from me when  it was offered.

Eldest sis and myself met at Mum's for roast dinner. Sis asked what I'd like to drink to which I replied 'Coffee, please'
'How are you taking it these days?' she asked (we've not seen each other in 4 months or so)
'1 spoon of decaff coffee and ½ a spoon of sugar please' says I.
She then asked me whether I'd said 1½ spoons of sugar. 'No' says I '½ a spoon'
'Now I'll have to pour it away and make another one' she said and started clanging things around.
It didn't appear to help me observing (½) sweetly she hadn't listened to me in the first place.
Much sulking on her behalf before dinner was served. :)
It's what sisters are for, isn't it? >:D

A mere trifle, now I have finished hanging a dozen pictures and a few shelves I can finally use the ladders to get the Christmas tree down from the loft!
