Yep, very worth it. A look around their exhibition and shop, a cream tea in the Pulman coach and, if it's a nice day, a ride on the BHLR.

I'll see if i can plan it in as my plan for a days sailing has been scuppered by an easterly!

The shop at the South Devon railway is worth a visit too.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

If you are going to Buckfastleigh to the South Devon Railway, pop across to the other side of "town" to Ratio House, its where Wills & Ratio kits are made. They too have a good model shop plus they have a full display of all their model. They're not open at the weekends though.

The model shop at the old Okehampton station is also worth a visit.

Pecorama, you may need a 4x4 and climbing gear to get into and out of the car park. The roads in Beer are a bit step in places. Bet it isnt much fun on an icey day in winter!
We went last year, i liked it, the 3 year old didn't want to leave, teenager hated it and the wife just wanted to get to lyme  regis before the fossil shops closed.

I last went in 1996 I think.  Loved it!  I couldn't afford anything in the shop sadly.  I should have saved my pocket money. ::) ;D
