Firefly anyone?

Genius cut off prematurely. I would have loved to see how this progressed. At least we got some conclusion with "Serenity".

Farscape?

Plus I had a major crush on Theresa 'Terry' Farrell aka Jadzia Dax Still can't believe she quit!

That's lucky. My crush was always Major Kira Nerys
The Ferengi's were interesting/amusing but it was always Garak's activities that had me hooked playing, as he did, all ends against the middle.

Yes I agree, that was very well done.
I always found the different layers of the Dominion intriguing and the interplay between the different races interesting too.

I think that sums it up, for what was basically Eastenders in space (as my girlfriend calls it  ) the show was whatever you wanted it to be. You could just watch it and take it at face value but there was enough depth, although sometimes quite cheesy done, to make you think a bit deeper about science, politics/diplomacy/espionage, religion, economics, even how different races represented different aspects of the human condition... or perhaps that's just me?

Sad to see a number of the cast passing in recent years but then again I'd never want them to reboot it and ruin it.

Garak was a superb character, responsible for one of my favourite exchanges in any TV show.

Garak: My dear doctor, everything I have told you is true.
Dr Bashir: Even the lies?
Garak: Especially the lies.
