My first post
About 35 years ago I bought a large box of N gauge stuff, secondhand (yes, I know  ) Now that I've more time on my hands, and more space, I have gone back to the layout I started around 10 years ago. Among the box of stuff was these four locomotives- I suspect at least a couple of them are kit-built, as there were 3 packs of (unused) white-metal kits in there with them. Can anyone identify the locomotives that these are modelled on? Sadly none of them are operational, and need an overhall.

Sorry I can't help with identifying the locos but, as you say, they do look like kit built or maybe even some kind of 009 stuff

Ah! Of course- I think you may be right. Thanks. Two of the unmade kits are 009.

the bottom (red, green diesel) pair look like Roco  generic locos with a repaint
(there should be a makers name on the bottom of the chassis)

Top right is a Peco 009 kit

look up 009 locos (images)  on Google and you should find a match

Top right in first picture and bottom left in second picture is what looks like the Peco Glyn Valley Tram loco.

From the first picture:

Top left is some sort of kit or scratch-built narrow gauge loco on an Arnold 0-4-0 chassis.  Looks a bit like the Langley Prince body

Top right is a Peco narrow gauge loco on what I would guess is a Farish 0-6-0 chassis.

Definitely 009 stuff. I actually owned a couple of similar locos a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

I couldn't see a For Sale section on the forum- have I missed it? As you can tell by the fact these have been in a box for decades I should pass them on to someone who will appreciate them- together with the unbuilt kits.
