Even though I'm positively Angelic over the year, the Fat Fella in the Red Coat never seems to visit me. 

I don't even get a lump of coal (probably because the Porky one knows I will find it useful), so I will have to buy myself a Christmas present again.

So the question is what locomotive should I buy and why? If you were me what would you buy yourself?

Problem is, Paul, you limit yourself to anything LMS so a livery outside of crimson or black doesn't stand a chance. As you may consider a new layout based 'further east' I'd suggest the excellent Farish B1.
The one I have is a real looker and runs beautifully.

If this fails, there's always the January sales on the 26th when what you wanted will be cheaper.

Did you not see the two I had running at Pendle? I built them before the Farish release, Whoops just admitted to having non-LMS stock  :'(
