They look good for a modern layout, but unless my memory is at fault, far too colourful for a 50's/60's layout.

I'd expect the Noch figures to grumble over Southern Railway strikes and ticket prices with the guard for that sort of money.

They'll be fine for glam rock/discount revellers. You can't get too colourful for the 70s.
