I'mnot really one to air my dirty laundry in public, but I feel I should let you all know why  haven't been around for a few weeks.

There is no easy way to say it, My wife walked out on me at the beginning of August, and I have been a bit upset and a bit emotional to say the least, I never knew it was coming.

So you can imagine that my mind has been and will be on other things for a few more weeks yet. I'll try and drop in as and when I can.

Best of luck too you Graham, I have had problems in that vein too so I feel for you. When I have felt a bit down I have dug in and worked on my model railway.  If you have any close friends a chat with them might help you, it helped with me.

Just try and retain your sanity, Graham. Post as and when you can.

Do try to keep your spirits up.

As others have said mate, try not to regress too deep into yourself.

Also, some "playing" with model trains might well do you good. However probably best to listen to what you are feeling like on any given day, don't force yourself into doing fiddly tasks which could result in being wound-up.

I wouldn't, as an example, try and do some barbed-wire fencing to releave tension!

I've been in a similar situation myself and understand some of what you must be going through. I'm just returning to the point where I'm truly enthusiastic about things again, not just going through the motions. Thank you for taking the brave decision to post about this here. I won't repeat the advice already given (it's all good!) but I do wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you as a regular contributor here again in the future.

Sorry to hear that. Been there so feel for you. I thought about giving some advice but I nearly punched a good friend who tried to do that at the time.

Can't really say anything now except keep going and I'm sure we're all here for you if you want to chat. Sometimes better with people you don't know (as such).
