I am in the process of building a website for our local model railway group which is effectively the West Cornwall Branch of the N Gauge Society although we are open to non N gaugers as well.
The website is very much still under construction but can be seen at www.wcmrg.weebly.com
Any comments (good or bad) would be welcome  :worried:
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Hi PP,
I tried, but could not find the site
A copy of the web-adress perhaps?  ;)

Hi Martin,
The website looks really good unfortunately we missed your show but will be down in Redruth on the 10th September at the Model show at the Campus if you go look for SouthBrook Model Group

Don't like the menu button / drop down toolbar.  Seems a waste of screen space unless something is planned for the area to the right of the menu button.  At the moment could just leave the menu options visible with the current selection highlighted in place of the menu button.

Pity the pictures of the show aren't linked to display larger pictures as there are some I would liked to have viewed in more detail (future expansion perhaps).

Otherwise a nice, clean site layout, easy navigation, intuitive; a good start.

To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

Thanks Graham, I wasn't aware of that one so may pop in and have a look, it's only 10 minutes or so down the road for me.
It's probably because it's a scale model show rather than a railway show that I'd missed it but I'll mention it to others at our next meeting in July.
We should be around then I think so maybe will bump into you and have a chat.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll certainly address the problem of the exhibition photos not enlarging. I should be able to fix that OK.
As for the menu button, that's swings and roundabouts but I like the way it is so I'll see what others think at our next club meeting.
Still a long way to go with the site though.
