Anyone else noted how poor the offerings on Ebay have become over the last week.  Even the rate of posting here seems to be less.

I don't follow EBay at all so can't comment, but the lack of posting may be down to holidays or longer days/better weather resulting in other things to do at the other halves' insistence in order to keep them sweet for that 'can I have permanent use of that spare room?' moment ;)
Others may be out on 2 wheels (motorised or not), digging the garden (for when the other half refuses the spare room >:D) or any manner of things.

All very plausible except the "better weather"  :D

Hey - it's splitting the paving stones up here in Lancashire.
No, not the sun - the lightning :worried:

I for one have been out doing a fair bit of fishing and the layout has taken a backseat....I think sometimes a break away to a different hobby for a while results in a renewed enthusiasm on returning😀

Yes I take a bit of a break from N gauge during the summer - I run my garden railway!
Working doesn't seem to be the perfect thing for me so I'll continue to play.

Yes, there is a lot of other interests in the Summer that keep me busy.
For a start we have 3 allotments !   We also have a VW Type 2 Camper which needs running and enjoying plus TLC.
We love coastal walks and eating out.
Living in Cornwall we have visitors (not all of whom are interested in railways for some reason).
And I still work 3 days per week .
Oh....and there's the football and cricket on the TV.
Too many things to do and not enough hours in the week.
So.......modelling takes more of a back seat (but....still a bit of time for some N gauge time).
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Totally normal - the summer is always a quieter time - folks tend to spend more time in the summer doing other things. Happens every year.

Cheers,
Alan

I am not so convinced as I've got quite a few bargains during the euros I guess not so many people are around to bid on things means they are going quite cheep
