You can get a train direct from Kings Cross to Sunderland? I am impressed!

Couldn't do that in Bealman's college days!

I would imagine travel would be in its infancy during Bealman's college days  >:D

Cheers John.

Morning all,

Anyone else notice the rather large mistake in the current issue? I've heard of The Great Central Railway based in Loughborough, but the Grand Central Railway?!?! May struggle to hold an exhibition on an orange/black HST!!

Cheers,

Ollie

It's an interesting idea though - a travelling train exhibition .......................
Whatever happened to the old "Exhibition Train" coaches ?
:hmmm:

I bet that's never been done before, but I remember going to the Seven Valley Railway and they had an old road bus or coach that someone had built a model railway in ,it was parked in one of the station car parks he used to drive it around to exhibitions and park it the car park.
If I remember  he charged a small fee which went to a charity.

My copy has some sort of weird printing error ;)
