Got mine too, yesterday, no loose pages.

As always a quality production and a credit to all involved.

My only slight gripe which has been growing over recent times is why in almost every issue there seems to be yet another 6 to 8 page blow-by-blow illustrated article on "how to DCC a....(Fill in the blank)". It is becoming a tad repetitive and to one who has absolutely no interest in DCC adds up to a lot of unread pages..

Roger that. There is rather a lot of DCC stuff - hopefully it will tail off a bit as DCC gets established!

Didn't they do a survey a few months back when the membership said they wanted more DCC articles?  I guess by the very fact of being on a forum those here are more technophile than the average N-gauger!

Yep, gotta agree there. They all (every conversion) seems to be extremely samey. And the photos always look so dark in those articles. But to be fair many of the commercial mags also resort to those sort of articles, although Nigel Birkin does do it very well in BRM.

hi all

while i do agree there have been numerous "DCC conversion" articles i don't view them as a negative point

i only have a passing interest in DCC as i decided to stay with DC for now at least  :-\

but i always read the articles an find the "before" pictures very informative if only to show where any connections should be in case
any come loose on any of my loco's

so to that end all i will say to the NGS is keep up the good work on a very informative and interesting mag

happy new year

dave
