Plenty of folk have unrealistic expectations too IMO - people expect emails to be answered within the hour, which often isn't practical.

I did get slightly irate with a bike shop a few months ago; I ordered a part they specifically said was in stock (it was unavailable everywhere else I looked), they emailed to say that they didn't have it, but could supply a similar one (which was widely available for less than they were charging), or could refund me less a 10% 'admin fee'.

I was unimpressed to say the least. They backed down as soon as I pointed out their illegal practice, but you wonder how many people have just accepted that.

Too many of us just sit back and accept what happens, makes it acceptable for people/business to treat us  badly. Guess that I am guilty as well.
