Mine arrived through the letterbox this morning. Looks like another excellent edition.

YAY! Can't wait to receive mine! I had intended to pen an article but didn't end up getting the time. Looks like I will have to buckle down and get it sent off for the next one.

Also, since the scavenger hunt competition is now closed, would it be inappropriate for me to post what I thought the answers were to last month's? I didn't end up submitting them, but I want to see if I have the right idea...
Check out Avondale - My heritage railway themed layout :)

Just had a quick flit through mine. Liking the article on figure painting and the good tips one on modifying road vehicles to have open doors, turned wheels etc.

Liking the article on figure painting...

That took the wind out of my sails, I was about half way through writing one about painting the Model Scene figures. Oh well, I will put it on my blog eventually. Good issue though, I have only just rejoined the NGS after about five or six years away from railway modelling and I am enjoying the new look journal very much.

I've got a lot of figures to paint (plastic though rather than white metal ) so the more articles the merrier!

Ah, excellent.

Something nice to read when I return out west from the mother-unit in London 😀

I would still do a write up, as there are different ways to paint anything, and someone might like your method better.

If the military modelling mags only ever ran one method of how to paint a item, they would soon be a lot thinner :)

True, I'll get back on it in the next few days, Graham can always keep it for a thin issue.
