There is a blue Somerset 0677 coach on eBay at the moment

There are two other GF SDJR four wheelers on eBay right now too. Just under "SDJR." Both are a little cheaper than that one (one is a brake)... For now at least!

Railwaygun - found thanks.

N-Gauge-US - I can't find it, any chance you could post or PM me the link please?  :thankyousign:. David.

Hopefully these thinks will work:

N-Gauge-US. I have them on the radar  :)  :thankyousign:
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

OMG they are so cheap compared to what I paid for mine. Go for em Dannyboy.  :'( :'( :'(  :beers:
Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Bob, they are cheap ......... at the moment!!! There are another four days to go unfortunately. But as I missed out on the last auction and there was one of each coach that went for just over what you paid, you can feel good about that.  :). David.

Bob, the catalogue number of the brake carriage is 0677, the link shows the carriage, (about a third of the way down).  :beers: David.

P.S. If I come across two of them, I will let you know  :D

Thanks for posting this - just found this thread, and reminiscing about the Farish stuff I used to own as a kid. And I'd totally forgotten about those buildings; plastic blocks with stickers! Wow.

I understand what you mean now David - the bid has already doubled in the last 1/2 hour - they do seem to be popular!!
Again - good luck.

Okay, don't all rush at once to congratulate me, but I have, at last, managed to get my brake coach and at not a bad price, considering how much the  :censored: things have been selling for lately.  :claphappy: . It has taken me nearly 12 months to get one, but it is now paid for and should be with me in a few days. It is describe as being in "excellent" condition and, according to SWMBO, "it had better be at that price"  :D. (Well I thought it was a good price and as it's my railway, that's what counts  :)). David.

Good on ya Dannyboy.. David  you just have to explain to madam that you're buying a piece of history and that money has no meaning under these circumstances. Tell her it's like buying a beautiful pair of shoes that just have to be added to a collection for posterity so that future generations can see how beautiful they are.....  :hmmm: :beers:

Thanks Bob, I will try that, although in my case, I have to substitute shoes for handbag - why she needs dozens of handbags is beyond me  - she has, after all, only got two hands :hmmm:. Actually, to be fair to her, she does not mind me spending the money, (as long as the bills are paid   ;D). David.

And I bought 4 of them - yippee! Trouble is, they are only worth that if somebody wants to pay that amount. On second thoughts, I am not selling - it took me too long to get them!

Glad you got what you wanted eventually - I know you've been looking for a while.
I think I paid about £150 for my 4 - outrageous!! BUT sometimes ya just gotta have stuff!
Truth is they're not even very good models, but they look great behind my S&DJR 4F - so what the heck - money well spent in my opinion.
:beers:
