Ordered two things from Amazon early last week as presents for my Grandchildren.
They HAD to arrive by today as we travel up to Wiltshire to see them tomorrow.
The first item arrived by Royal Mail on Tuesday (despite the order tracker saying it would be Hermes!).
The second arrived at 17-00 this evening via a Hermes courier. It was marked on Aazon's tracker website as expected on Tuesday.
Not sure what Hermes have been up to but at least both parcels arrived on time (just)!
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

My other half ordered something from Amazon.es yesterday (a new hosepipe for the washing machine) with delivery promised for today before 2100 hours, to say I was sceptical was the least.  1600 hours this afternoon our buzzer went to get access to our community and our house, lo and behold, an Amazon delivery, very impressed, especially as it was handled by "Correos" the national postal service here in Spain.

I`m overdue a parcel of replacement items that had arrived damaged last week. So far Amazon have failed to honour their replacement  delivery by 2 days and time is getting desperate on a couple of the contents.
I think in this area they are using camel or hefalump delivery services   >:(

I have noticed a definite decline in Amazon Prime delivery - so much that they keep having to extend my Prime membership by a month and I think I have now had six free months!
Is that what they do Pengi? Extend your membership. That could be good use for me cos I use Amazon prime a lot for films, music, etc. etc.
Is that in their terms and conditions somewhere?
:beers:
They do it if ask them for a phone call and then complain :veryangry: like mad

I ordered some bits from Plaza Japan right at the beginning of November, still no sign of my parcel  :( had to raise it on ebay and they are going to resend the whole order.  Such a shame as Plaza are usually really good have had stuff in a week from them before.

Made a few Amazon orders is recent weeks.  All have arrived within quoted schedule, one before the earliest date.  One was delivered by Royal Mail.  The others using their own systems.

That is a shame - I find Plaza have been very good, as you have said. Hope it is not a delivery issue from the UK side :worried:

but with a Saturday delivery I think it's safe to say it won't be WPDS handling it !  I'll find out later, once it goes from "processing" to "posted" ... !
Arrived a short while ago - RM Tracked all the way
