There is a programme on Ch4 between 8 - 9pm about the Orient Express called The World's Most Famous Train. You might argue with the title, but could be worth watching.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

All set up to record - assuming my aerial is still vertical :worried:

Thank you for the heads up Malc. Babs

Thanks for that.

Set up to record.

Hope there's not too much talking and some shots of the train.

Decorum prevents from mentioning what I'd do or say if a man in a pink jacket is involved.

He's not, is he?

Cheers again weave  :beers:

Been on the Viagra again Nobby?

:sorrysign:

I tried that once but swallowed it too slowly and got a stiff neck ::)
We've been suffering from rather windy weather and my aerial see-saws wildly but luckily it's still in place.

Maybe you shouldn't ride it in high winds  ::)

Damm I forgot about that program, will have to watch it on catch up. If your aerial's not straight Mick I would not even think of going up to straighten it you know what happened to Emu and Rod Hull.

I get vertigo standing on the pavement, Chris, so there's no chance I'll be shinning up a ladder

I don't want to disillusion you Chris, but I suspect Rod Hull was on his own when he was fixing the aerial. Or maybe he wasn't and that was why he fell.

Just watched this on Skybox How the other half live £16 just for one cocktail its way out of my league £3000 plus for a return journey BUT WHAT A TRAIN ,WHAT A JOURNEY  the only thing that could beat it is THE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER and that's just as expensive still I might win the lottery someone's got to.

One wonders how much business they will have lost by showing the gift shop manager boasting about how much profit he makes...  or is the clientele just too rich to care?
