I dropped severe hints to listening family today that I would like to see a Cameo cutter or a 3D printer in my stocking on Christmas Day, of the two ... I think I would prefer the Cameo cutter it would make all those black and white buildings a lot easier to make.....

I have a standing order with my relatives for vouchers for my favourite model emporium in Sheffield.
They know by now their demise could result if this is not adhered to >:D

Other than that I just want a peaceful time to enjoy some good boxed sets of DVDs (you just know Christmas telly will be rubbish), to drink/eat what I want when I want, and to not feel duty bound to do anything. So, if we have 3ft snowdrifts I'll be happy providing I've already got the provisions in :D

Personal wishes are better health and not to be on pills that mean I can have an alchoholic drink by 2016
Otherwise not bothered about xmas - personally I only think it should be celebrated for the benefit of under 14 years old as they are probably the only ones who really appreciate it.
Modelling stupid small scale using T gauge track and IDl induction track. Still have  N gauge but not the space( Japanese Trams) Excuse spelling errors please, posting on mobile phone

Clare and I absolutely LOVE Christmas, in fact it's our favourite time of the year, so saying it's only under 14s that appreciate it is clearly not right :P

We start looking forward to it as soon as Bonfire Night is over, the tree will be up first week of December and the house will look like Santa's Grotto inside :D

I suppose you could argue that we're both 40-something going on 10? ;)

All I want is a modest win on the lottery not bothered about the jackpot as I would err never see a sober day for at least 6 months!

But enough to get me mortgage free and get all the models I want!!
Mechanical issues can be solved with a hammer and electrical problems can be solved with a screw driver. Beyond that it's verbal abuse which makes trains work!!

Wouldn't they start getting all catty and fighting with each other?

BabySquid's first Christmas, will be a couple of weeks early as going to the UK and returning here before the 25th; not that he'll remember it but I'm sure he'll enjoy the attention and shiny things.

This will be my first Christmas in my new home - SHMBO is currently buying new decorations to go with all the old "donated" ones from the two sets of parents.

On my Christmas list is:

Dapol 28xx
Dapol Grange
Farish N Class
Anything else I spot at Warley!
New hat and sword for Re-enactment

Geoff

Yippee Christmas has come round already and more goodies for my layout but I would like to have my wife healthy and fit for Christmas but that will be in another life time.

Realistically one could wish for peace on Earth for Christmas but I doubt that wish will come to fruition.
Geoff

silly moo

I buy my own Christmas present each year, that way I get what I want. This year it's a Farish class N in SR olive green.

I bought it just after TINGS,  got it home and then wrapped it up in Christmas paper (to prevent me being tempted to run it) and put it in the loco drawer.
