And to finish a really lovely Austin 7 which had one a prize at the recent Dorset County Show



Well that's it for this year, HID was at a school governors meeting so I only managed one and had to dash back to drop the car off before having another, no wonder I don't get much done on the railway! 

Superb I always admire these golden oldies and the hours of hard work it must take to keep them in top condition

My dad had a Somerset. He bought it as we left N Ireland, bound for West Cornwall via Stranraer.

He drove us all the way, bar the Irish sea bit! No motorways back then (1956, I think).

I remember it as very comfy but I did miss the old Standard 14 he had previously.
