The 3rd and last meet brought out some new beauties

First an immaculate Humber Saloon beautifully finished complete with a footstool foot warmer for the Ladies!

A Sunbeam Talbot convertible

Jaguar XK 140 (thanks to Johnlambert for correct model identification)

An Alvis TC 21/100 "Grey Lady"

Austin Healey 3000 mk3

BSA B31 in Home Office livery

A Vincent Rapide

Jaguar Mk2 saloon  ala Morse!

On the left a rather beat up Austin Somerset? with an American Ford Coupe

A Humber convertible

Gorgeous or what a Lagonda Saloon

Fixed Head MGA

A Supercharged 6 cylinder MG, definitely fancied this one!

And to finish a really lovely Austin 7 which had one a prize at the recent Dorset County Show

Well that's it for this year, HID was at a school governors meeting so I only managed one and had to dash back to drop the car off before having another, no wonder I don't get much done on the railway!  :beers:

Superb I always admire these golden oldies and the hours of hard work it must take to keep them in top condition

 :greatpicturessign: thankyou.

My dad had a Somerset. He bought it as we left N Ireland, bound for West Cornwall via Stranraer.

He drove us all the way, bar the Irish sea bit! No motorways back then (1956, I think).

I remember it as very comfy but I did miss the old Standard 14 he had previously.

Jaguar XK 120

Lovely photos.  This is a Jaguar XK 140 btw (thicker bumpers and different grille when compared with the 120).
