very hard night drinking.. not had a drink for almost a year.. mixed with current medication  :o :o

Just had to share this with you guys...

4 thick bits of bacon, 2 soft bread rolls,BBQ sauce and mild chedder all washed down with a strong black filter coffee..

Best hang over cure ever! not sure why but it really works.. just need to work out how to get rid of the traffic cones and bus stop sign  from my bedroom before the wife arrives home from her weekend away  ;D ;D

We did the same saturday night. Usually don't drink at all, maybe a pint a month at most. Saturday my misses and I polished off a strong bottle of red, followed by a VERY large scotch each, a couple of equally-large Drambuies, washed down with copious amounts of white rum. What hangover? I've never had one so far  ;)

I've been T-total for about 3-4 years now and coming up is the hardest day of the year to avoid getting drunk I bowed to the temptation last year and regretted it after waking up the next morning so this year will be a glass of champagne or two, it's not the getting drunk that I have a problem with its the feeling afterwards,,,

Thanks for sharing this, Findus - now I feel pigging starving :( I think a visit to the butty van for a chilli at lunchtime is in order.
I remember the days when my missus and I would start drinking red wine at 7.30 Friday night and then go to bed at 8.30 Saturday morning leaving the conservatory awash in empty bottles. No way I could do that now, partly 'cos I haven't got a missus
