Guildford station (exact date to remain concealed to protect the guilty!!) and the early turn porters spend much of their duty packing a pigeon van with baskets ready for dispatch to the north.
Middle turn relieve them, see the pigeon van in the siding, believe it has been worked in during the morning but the birds not yet released - so spend the next few minutes letting the birds out!
