Three parcels today,  Two Minitrix Gresley teaks, 10 mini switches, and 3 bags of Meldon Quarry ballast; the switches will get used first  so I can do some wiring to allow more extended test running. Once I'm satisfied with the running then I can use the ballast, Meldon quarry being the obvious source for an SR based layout, just hope 750gm - 3 bags - is enough!

The teaks along with 2 others I already have will form part of a cross country service from/to York & Newcastle, alternating with SR stock on alternate days, I've already got some Staniers for the Pines express, just need some Greasy Wet and Rusty for the Birkenhead service. Could do with a full brake from each company - in relevant grouping livery!

Just need to get the layout running now!!!

Lucky you I need a couple of teaks for a inter region working on my layout but just cant seem to find them at a reasonable price, I saw a Dapol one in a shop I visited over the weekend at £35 I nearly passed out

Dapol have some of the teaks in stock on their website for £23 each.

Rails of Sheffield have them at £20 preorder forthcoming release for teaks, and a few available in BR livery at £18:95; Etched pixels have some preprinted kits  of teaks and the later Gresley steel, they also do etched sides to convert Minitrix and some Dapol  to types not available, like Vestibule firsts, but they need painting.

Thanks Mike finally got the laptop away from the Domestic Overlord so I might get chance to have a look before I am sent to bed  :'(
