Russell,

The lamp is working perfectly now with the new Brass insert that you have made, I had a struggle getting the new wick through but after warning it that the rubbish bin was the next stop it went through as if through butter!  (Strange that!)

Thank you from both myself and my wife Susan.

Nice one, Russ
Hope that's not the midnight oil you're burning, Peter? ;)

Good work Russ.  Great to hear that folk are helping each other outside of the hobby.

Peter you need a new soldering iron, im not sure it will fulfill your current needs :D

I don't know, I manage to burn myself just as easily as with my soldering iron!

Little difficult in confined spaces, though! :D

Nice one Russ!

I've known Russ for a while now - he's always been willing to help out others without the expectation of material gain for himself. A most genuine member of our community. Makes me proud to be his friend (if I can say that Russ!)

Glad you got the genie lamp working Peter.

Repairs - not everything has to be sent away - you can fix most thing's yourself. Ask and help will be provided.

Waiting for the RTR version? - why not try a kit?
