Hi fellow n-gaugers, I have just watched a part episode of Oh doctor beeching, the tv series on You tube. The thing is I do not remember this on the tv, it is quite amusing the main interest's is of course the trains, it looks like GWR territory, not sure what the green loco is, looks similar to a 2mt.

A very funny series. My son aged 4 at the time and I used to watch it.
He his now 6 and every now and then you can here him singing the theme song while he is playing in his bedroom

In my opinion, Despite the railway setting it was the WORST of the Croft/Perry (so called) Sitcoms...

It was just a vehicle for a crew of washed up second rate actors who had previously had mild success with the just about tolerable Hi-de-hi...

Not a very intellectual program I admit but nice after a stressful day at work and, even the odd steam engine to drool over!!

I don't recall it, but I know the cast of Hidehi which had a rerun a few weeks ago," Jeffrey can't hear you " etc.
