"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life.
When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote 'happy'.
They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

Very nice.  Thank you for finding them and sharing them with us.  Do you(or anyone else , for that matter)  know what scale Mr. Araki has used on the diorama's appearing on his site? From the vehicles I would suspect 1:18, but could find no details confirming this.  There seems to be very little about him on line (although I could have missed it).

Given the detail, he would seem to either have a lot of time available, or be a 'professional' model maker; again details  are lacking.

Certainly, in respect of detail what he has done is modelling to aspire to, but I do wonder how he would handle 'N'?

Again, thanks.

A couple of the photos say "1:35th scale" in the bottom left corner.

Cheers  Jon :)

Amazing.  Thanks for posting, Lawrence!

I loved the Vespas and the 'pagoda ship'. I am inspired to do some more imaginative modeling!
