Despite them being hopeless at getting back to me regarding advertising ( ;) ), I have just paid for the 4 issues.  Thank you Newportnobby.

Thanks, Mick. After trying the website purchase process before Christmas and having it fail on me, I hesitated before having another go. Luckily it seemed to work this time. Sadly I spent a few seconds staring at 'subscribe to four 2015 magazines' thinking, well wait a minute, what about this year's mags first, not next year's. Oh dear.

Thanks for the info Mick. Ordered mine so hopefully it's a good read and contains some useful information.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

First one was mainly a rerun of the editors earlier book  but the second was more original

My first copy dropped through the door today (Issue 1 - 2014). Next issue (Feb 2015 is due soon).
It's a good  magazine (60 pages) printed on good quality paper. Pictures pretty good and some interesting articles. Unlike many of the popular multi-gauge mags this one is not half full of adverts which is refreshing.
Not sure I learned a lot but it's a good read overall and I enjoyed reading it.
Looking forward to the next issue.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

If it was sent 2nd class and didn't get picked up till Monday evening (possibly the first collection after the 8th) then it is not so unreasonable.
