As every one says Ahh what a lovely baby ,
Congratulations, I think that you had better start building a Thomas the Tank layout ,as they say start them young, not that that worked with our three .

Well, it turns out Father-in-Law is a bit of a closet model railway fan, who had some O and HO stuff in his youth and is dying to see my layout, and Brother-in-Law could spend hours watching trains from the comfort of his pushchair, and though Mrs. Squid can't tell a pre-TOPS Peak from an obscure back-of-beyond Japanese EMU she has this bizarre insistence I should buy an automated level crossing for the layout, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Also the nearest park from Chez Squid is right next to the local commuter line.

Massive congratulations railsquid

As one who didn't become a father until he was 45 I have only one bit of advice - take as many photos/videos as you can because the time passes amazingly quickly and if you blink you'll miss it.

I'm no spring chicken myself... The Mrs. made me go out and buy a nice new camera, recording of baby, for purposes of. I also work mainly from home, which is not without its downsides but vastly preferable to the working life experienced by most here, so will no doubt see a fair bit of the little one as he grows.

Apparently it's a non-runner at the moment, but the motive power unit is fuelled by an innovative biofuel system controlled by an autonomous built-in command unit.
