The .pdf version of the new Oxford Diecast catalogue is available to download here:-

http://media.solnet.co.uk/oxford/Oct-Jan2015/files/assets/downloads/publication.pdf

This is 48 pages and it can be slow if a large number of downloads are taking place simultaneously.

The N items are on pages 30 to 36. There are 21 new items due for delivery over the next 5 months or so. Regular stock items are marked with a red square. Anything else should be regarded as a one off limited edition. The Midland Red Guy Arab Utility bus has been reworked to correct the colour error.

I just wish they'd release a late 1950's cattle lorry so I have the means of getting the cows from the fields to the cattle dock at the yard (I'm sure I'm not alone in that :hmmm:)

Cows are for very slowly driving up the lane which explains why all the road vehicles are stationary. Agree that a cattle float would be a useful addition - could even justify the weekly cattle market, and the drunken brawlers at the pub.

You could buy a 1950s lorry of your choice and transplant the body from the 1930s Dornaplas kit... That's exactly what happened with many prototypes in that era...

Hi

If you go to www.oxfordrail.com you will see the announcement of their first (OO) model. It looks like they are only doing OO stuff in the near future.

I was told by a trader today that Oxford Rail have stepped in to replace Kernow who were originally doing the Radial.
As to whether that's true or not............................... :-\

If all the rumours were true, at least four different manufacturers would alegedly have released an Adams Radial in 00 by the end of next year...

Kernow aren't a manufacturer only a commissioner of models from other manufacturers which they sell under their own brand or jointly branded. So while Kernow is/was one of the other rumoured "producers", I strongly suspect theirs would be a combined effort with a third of the rumoured manufacurers and has no connection to Oxford.

Oxford are apparently well ahead of the others on the development path, so it will be interesting to see if the others drop theirs (if they had actually started any real design/development work) or maybe just pause it to see how the Oxford model is recieved...

Richard @ N'Tastic Scale Models

It has also been suggested that Kernow knew about the Oxford announcement and were playing games by dropping hints about the radial to stir it all up. Not sure who the others were, but Kernow do like dropping hints to keep everyone interested.

There are no N new releases scheduled for December. Oxford have confirmed that 85% of the 2015 tooling so far announced is already completed, so hopefully the extra newly tooled N items should be with us more or less on time in 2015. Still a bit of catch up to be done over the next couple of months including the low roof Ford Transit van. If the Moderators do not have a problem with it I will create a new page for 2015 in due course.

The most recent releases are in the new edition of the Globe magazine available online at:-

http://media.solnet.co.uk/oxford/globe179/files/assets/downloads/publication.pdf

See pages 11 and 12. This is a big .pdf file.  An alternative "flipping book" is available at:-
