Hi,

I'm looking for some EWS 'Beastie' decals to put on a Farish 'Sectorised Class 60'. Does anybody know where I can get a hold of some?

Cheers, Mark.

Pete @ EGLM

Fox used to do them, but stopped doing EWS/DBS because of some licensing issues I believe.  You could try Railtec or Precision labels.

Hi Pete, thanks for the reply. I'll give them a try and see if I can get some done.

Hi Mark

If you find a solution please let us all know as I could do with some for a 92!

Cheers, Mike

Let me know the dimensions and I can knock up some in vinyl.

Hi Adam,

That would be fantastic and very prototypical ;-)

I've found this image while 'googling', its about 1/2 way down the page http://www.hentis-rail.co.uk/Toton&Rugby240206page2.html which shows the EWS beastie vinyl on an ex Transrail 60. The vinyl seems to cover the whole height of the loco side, from the roofline to the chassis, and when displayed on my monitor is 88mm high by 86mm wide.

To my eye a Farish 60 body side is 13mm high, so the logo width would need to be 12.7mm wide to be in proportion with the image. Happy to be proved wrong here.

If you could do them, I would definitely like to take 5 sets for my 60s.

Cheers, Mark.

I've done these previously in 4mm, so can scale down easily enough to N. Allowing for some shrinkage of the vinyl, if I make these about 13mm square, then they should come out just right,

Will dig out my 60 and do some tests.

The Cuckoo

Please let me know when these will be available and I'll take a set or two.

OwL

Make that two!

I have a mainline liveried 60078 that I would like some for. Please help the original poster as priority as he asked first, but any going spare afterwards, please let me know?
Will happily pay for these.........
Many thanks.

I'll get a big sheet done, so there will be plenty to go around!

Will do. I'll also be doing the slightly smaller size to fit the Class 90s.

Yes, I bought the fox ones. They had both sizes on the same sheet.
Anyway I'd like some as well, Adam. Are you going to put them on the website?

Cheers
