No, in the Addams Family tv series Lurch was played by Ted Cassidy AFAIK,
can't remember who played him in the movies.

BTW in the tv series a visitor sees Gomez  exploding his Lionel type layout
and says Mr Addams , you've blown it up to which Gomez replies
something like "Why else would a grown man play with trains "
