Has anyone here painted in a station as a backscene?

Hi all just wondered if anyone here had painted a station as a back-scene, I can get one platform in but the other side would have to be painted in, I am trying to get the Wetherby station in my layout as Collingham Bridge Station is my main station on my layout, I should be able to get the main building done OK as normal but the other side would have to be sketched and painted in.

I think I've seen them painted on back scenes at exhibitions, but never done one myself.
The years have been good to me, it was the weekends that did the damage.

Would it be possible to use the front, a single layer, as a very very thin low relief building and touch up with paint where needed?

cheers John.

Nice one John that does sound like a good idea I shall try and implement that, I get the room in about 3 weeks time so I am just trying to get my ideas going in my head but it seems to be coming together.

It's a concept I'd not even thought about, but sounds completely feasible! Good luck and let's see the results!
