As some of you know a member of this forum is a serving Padre in the R.A.F
Dave(Irish Padre) is, at present, on a tour in Afgan, he will be out there till early January, if anyone would like to send the lad a goody box of stuff like pringles, biscuits, wine gums or anything you can think of( send me a PM for his BFPO address) please read the link below

http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/DefenceFor/ServiceCommunity/BFPO/EnduringFreeMailService.htm

you can download a custom form cn22 off the net

before anyone say`s something Dave gave me permission to put this up

if Dave cannot get everything down his neck that people send him he will share it out with the boys and girls that he is camping with ::)

Just reading the dimensions of the boxes that can be sent out and thinking shoe box layout challenge :) (although it says nothing fragile, that doesn't rule out coming up with a 'hardened' layout :) )

cloughie

with me having size 11 feet I should be able to get a few packets of sweeties in a box :smiley-laughing:

Thanks Nobby and Cloughie. I came back a bit early (Although thankfully at the very moment I broke it my replacement was already inbound to Bastion! Being well looked after at home right now: might think about some modelling when the kids go back to school! David

glad to hear you safe and home.

shame so many dont get to  >:(

If anyone has already sent stuff, will it still go to bastion? if so maybe you could pass a message to your comrades to share any arrivals amongst them
Cheers

David,

Glad to here you're home safe and sound, my daughter and her husband are home on R'N'R at the moment.

Not looking forward to them going back for another 3 months, even though my Son-In-Law is going to be based at Bastion, but my daughter will be back at a PB with 1 Yorks.

Regards

Neal.

Thanks Polo - have given instructions that any parcels are to be dished out!

Neal - hope you have a great time with son -in-law and daughter! I spent a night at a PB a few weeks ago and left with a lot of respect for those who operate there. Will certainly be praying.

David if anybody deserves a time at home it must be you lads who are serving in places like Afganistan.
I wish you well and a speedy recovery
