because I`m looking for an item that looks a bit like a star and has soldering tags at the end of its 'arms' and a central fixing hole in the centre.
I know exactly what I mean but just cant think what to ask for. (they are for terminating multi common wire returns in this instance)   :dunce: :dunce:

Farnell call it a Solder Eyelet. I searched for "star lug" and found this.

Hope this helps

Best regards
Michael

Many thanks I just couldn't put a name to it  :dunce:
The price is off-putting though. I may well have to rethink the situation

Maplins have similar items but not multi-terminals - they call them ISOtags - perhaps a search on that term may yield a more cost-effective solution.

Ah, right, I thought "banging my head" in the literal sense.  I'm currently sporting a cut on my forehead where I stood up getting milk out of the fridge after forgetting to close a head-height cupboard door!

Yeah, just a small blemish.  Did it worse eight years ago, I passed out and banged my head again so I had both a cut and a graze!
