I haven't been to Norfolk for years and it's amazing how many preserved railways are now running there.

Was the OO layout based on Tivetshall present at the Diss show - it was my mum's local station until she moved away to Norwich in the early 50s.

Didn't see the Tivetshall layout and if it was there I would have as the Waveney Valley line is an interest of mine, I lived for a while, in the '50s next to it at Earsham. Only freight by then passenger service ended about 1953, I wonder if I'm to blame I was born in Dec '52  :smiley-laughing:

One of the next outings will be Wroxham miniature world when the schools break up, another easy way to keep the grandson happy :)
