Hi all
As a newby to weathering I have been told to go and look at wagons to see how they weather , a bit hard to do not living in the uk. Where can I find photos of old rolling stock as I was having trouble finding anything decent made worse by IT blocking access to sites incl certain parts of NGF at work. Coaches are no problems and the same for locos it's just the the old wAgons I'm having trouble finding good coloured photos of them
Thanks in advance
Bart

Repairs - not everything has to be sent away - you can fix most thing's yourself. Ask and help will be provided.

Waiting for the RTR version? - why not try a kit?

My layout, Bridgebury Gate now has its own website...

You may just have to admit that your employer really really wants you to work whilst they are paying you - and wait until you get home. Then you can look at any site you like.

It's okiee dokieeee we are allowed 1 hr per shift

You could just try Google - for example search for "mineral wagons" then click on "images".

There was a series of articles in BRM during 2012 by David Larkin about wagons that were nationalised.  The magazine I have to hand is March 2012 but I don't think the articles were sequential.

Larkin has written several books on BR wagons that are well worth the read.

Perhaps, next time you are at Central have a wander into the AHRS bookshop.

Kind regards

Geoff

Gee Bart that's a bit of a shame.

Back to their original location I see in Renwick Street, Redfern where they were when I living in Sydney in the late 70's.  Much better shop in those days.

Kind regards

Geoff
